  • Let the mixture stand for a few minutes to dry, and then  rub the mattress with a dry, clean cloth.
  • After treatment,  remove any residue with a vacuum cleaner.
  • Repeat this process  at least once a month.

4. Use tea tree oil

The essential oil of tea tree is an effective bactericidal product that helps to fade many of the odors that may accumulate in the mattress.

Its natural properties help to  eliminate factors that can make a mattress a homey place for dust mites,  and it also expels the harmful bacteria that accumulate in this place.

  • 120 ml baking soda
  • 8 drops of tea tree oil essential oil
  • 60 ml of vinegar
