This strawberry dessert, prepared using a refrigerator instead of an oven, is a great choice to delight friends and family at the end of a meal or coffee break.

Strawberry is a really versatile berry and is convenient to use as part of a wide variety of desserts, but also in the preparation of smoothies or sauces, for example. In addition, strawberry is a very easy-to-adapt ingredient and gives all recipes a sweet and delicious addition that no one can resist.

This recipe can be customized to your taste, preferences and needs – just let your imagination fly and prepare a dessert you love yourself!

Ingredients

  • 360 g of strawberries
  • 125 ml of water
  • 240 g of corn starch
  • 15 g butter
  • 60 g sugar
  • 125 ml of lemon juice
  • 1 jar of condensed milk

Manufacturing

  1. Use a blender to get a smooth and lump-free mixture of strawberries, water, sugar and lemon juice. You don’t have to strain the mixture in the end. Leave a few strawberries unused.
  2. Pour the mixture into a container and refrigerate for at least 40 minutes.
  3. Mix condensed milk, cornstarch and butter in a small saucepan.
  4. Heat the ingredients gently until they mix well.
  5. It is important that you stir the mixture constantly during this and make sure you put off the heat as soon as the mixture starts to boil.
  6. Slice the remaining strawberries; they become a decoration for dessert.
  7. Take a container of previously mixed ingredients from the refrigerator and pour the milk-corn starch-butter mixture on top of them.
  8. Finally, decorate the dessert by placing sliced ​​strawberries on its surface.
  9. Put another strawberry dessert in the fridge for about four hours,  and enjoy alone or in good company!

Condensed milk was used in the previous recipe, and whipped cream is used in this recipe. In addition, this will be biscuits, so the texture of the dessert will be more cake-like.

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of vanilla biscuits
  • 1 jar of whipped cream
  • 480 g of strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)

Manufacturing

  1. Whip the cream and sugar in a bowl. If you especially like the vanilla flavor, mix in the vanilla extract or vanilla sugar.
  2. Cut the strawberries into thin slices.
  3. Assemble the dessert in a container in the following order: one layer of custard, then strawberries, and finally whipped cream.
  4. Repeat the layers until there are no more ingredients left.
  5. Put the strawberry dessert in the refrigerator for about four hours.  Then you can enjoy its brilliant full-bodied texture at the end of dinner or any other suitable occasion!
