Why remove hair color?

It is common for people not to be happy with their new hair color. It often happens when the hair is not first bleached or discolored, and the result is based on a person’s previous hair color.

This causes unwanted combinations that can be a waste of time and money. When this happens, you can use the following  easy-to-apply solution to remove hair color.

1. Hot oil

Olive and coconut oils have moisturizing properties that work well in treating damaged hair. If you use them hot, they will help remove hair color while moisturizing your hair. You should keep in mind that most bleaches tend to dry your hair.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml olive or coconut oil
  • 500 ml of water

Manufacturing

  • Heat the coconut or olive oil in a boiling water bath until warm.
  • Wash your hair well and dry the excess water.
  • Apply the oil from the roots to the tops, wrap in a towel and leave on for an hour.
  • Rinse with warm water.

2. Vinegar

Ingredients

  • 500 ml of vinegar
  • 500 ml of olive oil

Manufacturing

  • Mix the olive oil and vinegar in a bowl and set aside.
  • Wash your hair with shampoo and then apply the mixture like a conditioner and leave on for 5 minutes.
  • Rinse with warm water. You should apply the mixture every time you wash your hair to get rid of any artificial color.

3. Vitamin C tablets

This treatment is really simple and cheap as you only need two ingredients for it. The best part is that it doesn’t damage your hair. However, this treatment will not work if your hair is dyed with ammonia dyes

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of shampoo
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 3 effervescent vitamin C tablets

Manufacturing

  • Dissolve vitamin C tablets in water.
  • Pour the mixture into a shampoo bottle and use it for at least a week each time you wash your hair to see results.

4. Laundry detergent

Hair stylers do not recommend the use of laundry detergent in hair washing as it tends to dry the hair. However, it can be a good aid in hair color removal. If you choose it, be sure not to spread it too much or use it too often. Also, after using it, apply a good quality conditioner to prevent drought.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon laundry detergent
  • A lot of water
  • Conditioner

Manufacturing

  • Moisten your hair and apply laundry detergent from the roots to the tops.
  • Rub gently and leave on for 5 minutes.
  • Rinse with water.
  • Apply the conditioner and leave on for 5 minutes, as the Detergent dries the hair, so the conditioner prevents damage.
  • You will notice the results within a week when you do this every other day.

5. Lemon rinse

Manufacturing

  • Wash your hair normally with shampoo.
  • When it has foamed enough, add the lemon juice and rub.
  • Leave on for about 5 minutes and rinse with water.
  • Apply the conditioner and leave it on for 3-5 minutes.
  • Rinse with water. You can repeat this procedure as many times as you want. Take a moment before you notice the end result, but the results are lasting.

You should keep in mind that  if you apply any product too much, you may damage your hair. To avoid further damage, it is a good idea to use natural treatments and always keep your hair moisturized to keep it healthy and shiny.

Using home care products to remove hair color is a good and undamaged option. They don’t damage your hair, but instead strengthen them when you stay within reason.
